Death is the inevitable end of all human life. It arrives stealthily without invitation and mercilessly drives our loved ones away from our lives. No attempts to express the grief of this overwhelming reality are enough to comfort or prepare us beforehand. However, while this remains our terminal destination, it is somehow more devastating when it is resulted from negligence and wrongful conduct of a third person especially when it could have been prevented. This is referred to as “wrongful death” in lawsuit which includes the death of a loved one by a harmful act that is committed mistakenly or intentionally by a third party. It includes murder or serious assaults concord where the victim is intentionally killed, car accidents caused by carelessness or when a doctor fails to diagnose the patient correctly. These types of behaviors are utterly unacceptable and therefore, a lawsuit is filed against the perpetrator as a due punishment and provisions are made for the deceased person’s family.
